Welcome to Rocking Chair Riffs! Music is the language of my deepest and most heartfelt prayer. I hope that my compositions help others to pray as well.
While I love to listen to (and write!) music in many different styles, this page is devoted to my liturgical music. My guiding principles when composing for liturgy are:
- Music should be prayerful.
- Music should be rooted in scripture.
- Music should be beautiful, original and interesting.
- Music should be a conversation with God, not a performance.
